ABOUT JUDY ASHER

Judy is the President and Interim Executive Director for the Michigan Council of Women in Technology.  MCWT is a non-profit whose mission is to inspire and grow women in technology. MCWT offers programming and events for girls and women throughout their journeys in tech spanning the full lifecycle from Kindergarten through a women’s full career journey. 

As an Executive and IT professional Judy has worked in a variety of roles across the portfolios at Ford Motor Company and Baxter International including Enterprise Architecture, Product Management, Cyber Security, new tech introduction, research and innovation.  Working for large, global, complex organizations she has been able to deliver stellar business results through leadership in digital transformation and highly collaborative teams.

Judy has been recognized by Crain’s Detroit, Women of Color, and MCWT as its Woman of the Year in Technology.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computational mathematics from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
